Photoshoot @ Bishan, 11am to 130pm
12 years of friendship. spectables, nerdy, plump, ah lian mei look (no, we are not ah lians but just dun understand why ppl always misunderstood us as one & often get ourselves into trouble where REAL ah lians approach us.. duh! we pretty & well received by pple cannot meh? anyway, thought of it, one word - funny!)
months back, Hui suggested the idea that we should go take a friendship photoshoot before the day we are in our bridal gowns. i agreed to it immediately!
the package that we signed up was relatively reasonable. each of us only pays abt $100 to get all our raw photos back in a cd & with a print out A4 photo(editing including for this pc only)
initially was quite concern that no editing to the raw photos will turn out to be not so good. with lots of assurance from hui, i took up the courage & told hui ok i shall try it.. see how bad i will turn out to be, what else but my terrible eye bags & flabby fats! heng turned out to be still ok la..
hui has been telling me she was really looking so much forward for this day. she has even prepared the dress that she wanted to wear for the photoshoot 3 weeks ago. ironed & neatly hanged on her wall. she was just so pissed off, went berserk & cried this morning when her maid accidentally burnt a hole on her dress! to note, its a brand new dress that cost her $90 bucks!
of coz other than this dress, we also have other 3 different kind of attire to wear la.. but haiz. okok, sad things dun say liao...

Bridal Gown Fitting @ Sophia, 2pm - 630pm
the next on the agenda is to Sophia. Hui was there with us too.
yeah, we zoomed our way there immediately after the photoshoot session ended.
earlier on, i did mentioned that im feeling kind of worried, that's probably coz' of the bad experience we had when we engaged YC for our ROM.
to my relief, i had a wonderful session at Sophia today. with the kind assistance from beatrice & professional advice given by lynn, im very sastified with my selected gowns for photo shooting. initially, im still worried that i might end up with all tubes. but, im very very lucky. my selection turns out to have a variation! 4 tube white/ ivory gown(still pending to be confirm of which 2 i wan), 1 toga turqoise evening gown (i dun hv any toga top before at all. so thought it will be something different?? anyway, hui, mi & hubby was attracted to it by the color very very much)& a low back halter neck (love the material for the top portion.. keke.. u pple will know why in times to come..keke)for outdoor shooting! simply love it all! for my darling, he had also confirmed the 2 suits that he'll be getting for the shooting. 2 very unique suits that you seldom see pple will wear. one is the color of the suit & the other its the design of it. one word - excellent! keke
the whole process of trying the different designs, cuttings, patterns & colors of gowns was indeed a real enjoyable and fun one. but gotta admit, its a lil' lil' tiny weeny bit of tired.. keke
now i juz pray hard that the gowns/ suits will look good when its on us, shooting & the photos will all turn out to be what we expected to be.
and, of coz' most IMPORTANTLY to maintain my figure now! =)

His 29th Birthday Celebration
this is going to be the biggest surprise & BEST pressie ive given to darling & his BEST bday ever!
"so, where exactly now are we heading to?" darling still got no clue that where im bringing him for dinner, though he's in the driver's seat.
"golden landmark hotel. we'll just park our car there & walk to the restaurant. 5 mins walk."
"what kind of restaurant? eat what? how you came to know about the restaurant?where exactly is the restaurant? .." never ending questions came one after another...he sounded like a lost child.. haha
"its a french restaurant. somewhere at haji lane, bali lane.. north bridge road.. aiyah.. i dun exactly remember la. just drive to golden landmark hotel & park there! den i will know how to walk there liao!"
as usual, he missed a few turns here & there. ended up i told him, just park at raffles hospital. i didnt help him to keep a lookout where to turn coz i wasnt paying attention to anything, my mind was just thinking abt the surprise later.. the planning.. the flow.. blah blah.. BUT, im trying very hard to listen to what he was talking in the car as i dun wan him to have the slighest chance to smell anything fishy..
jus out frm Sophia. heehee.. the program of the evening shall start. shalalla..
after all our orders was served, we spent some time chatting, then this stupid server, holding the menu came to me, pointing at the "cake" on the menu & whispered to me "mdm, when you would like this to be served?" at that moment i was like, why they so idiotic? jus served la.. but i jus whispered back said, "15mins". of coz, darling look puzzled! he asked me what the server wants. i was like shit. so i juz replied "err, no la.. he asked me whats my payment mode... coz that time when i called for reservation i didn't tell them.." - i know its a lousy reply to darling. haha "huh? why so funny? why need to tell them what payment mode?" "er,, dunno lei.. i also find it funny.." shitty right?
anyway, my mobile was beeping throughout the dinner lor. everybody was messaging me lor! updating me they reached liao, one moment ask me to hurry up, one moment asking me to delay time, ask me where are the rest.. blah blah.. never ending beeping! darling already asked few times liao, whos the one that keeping msging me.. den i anyhow say la.. first say is shiyun asking me how the bridal fitting session thingy & stuffs, hui asking me hows everything, classmates asking me about projects.. (frens there who i borrowed your name, paiseh eh.. =p) to a point, i replied one of them said "i'll be done soon. you guys jus relax there k. will update you all again. & kindly pls ask ALL to stop msging me! shengyang is getting suspicious!"
darling was of coz surprise when he saw the server serves him with the lil' cake & a candle on it. can you see the very happy smile on his face?
"i very long time never eat my OWN birthday cake liao."
"yah i know, thats why arrange this for you mah.."
"thank you darling!" he was already so happy & contented. in my mind i was thinking, "hmmm, u will have an even bigger bday cake to EAT! haha"
"so this from the restaurant, free one ah?"
"no la, i ordered it when i made reservation!"
guess why he had this expression?
"darling, u made me feel guilty lei.. i also never surprise you with anything.. only bring you for a simple meal.. "
thinking, "haha. boy, then you will feel even more guilty later!"
of coz' my point of arranging all these series of surprises not to make my darling to be filled with guilt or expect anything in return from him. i just want him to have something that he hsnt have before. it's been ages that he tasted his own bday cake. & also, i believed that he will love it when he can have his birthday celebration with his friends & family. my darling loves his family & also valued his friends. because of the high demands of time needed for his work, he was left with limited time. whatever time left, he is always trying his best to give it to me. thus, often ended up with neglection to his family & friends. so, for this we really really seek understanding from family & friends.
back to the molten cake. i got to admit that it's really very nice! my darling loves it sooo much. you can tell by the following pictures. i dun mind to visit Le Pont de Vie again, jus for this molten cake with ice cream! recommended!

naughty darling! can you see his tongue sticking out? me sms-ing again.. busy busy. its not easy for this arrangement lor! so confusing. first they ask me to slow down, coz the cake hvnt brought up to their room yet. so i followed. purposely walk slowly. den this stupid boy walk so fast ahead of me, still say why i so slow.. den i thought aiya jus go in a shop anyhow pick a dress & try.. was stuck in the fitting room for 1 dress! coz i was busy communicating with chong about the situation there.. den he said "ok, u bring him up now!" came out, told darling the dress too small for me to fit.. the zip no good that why took so long.. haha.. this silly boy of mine actually believe it.. so now, i need to hurry over to Coffee Nations, before the candles all melt! i walked really fast lor, literally pulling my boy behind.. i told him "ay, i want show u a place... last week when i came bugis, me & hui chances upon this cafe & its really nice & cosy! i want to show you..."
till this point, he still never smell anything fishy. coz he was focusing at all the pubs along haji lane & bali lane. he was simply amazed & asking me how come so many pple here.. blah blah.. yah, my darling is a mountain turtle. haha.. & he really slow lor.. i was walking so fast liao & a msg came in "hurry up! the candles melting!" wah.. kuncheong kuncheong.. i was already walking ahead, when i turned my head, my darling still standing behind looking at those pubs.. haiz! went over & pulled him. "ay.. come come.. i want show you.. hurry hurry"
hurriedly, i held his hands tightly(im not gg to let him wander off again!) & stepped into Coffee Nations. told the server there, i just want to check it out the place upstairs. so i fast fast go up, and try to slide open the door. at this time, i can already hear the commotion inside! but, they refused to let me open!!! i thought the door stuck or wat, den i tried to open.. darlin was beside me & his face start to change color lor.. he said "ay.. why u like that one.. blah blah"
jus as before he wanted to open his mouth to scold me, finally they allowed me to slide open!
Tah Dah!!! he saw all familiar faces, smiling at him! he was stunt & shocked!!
he was like huh?! "chong..?? ay!! mingyuan ...?? jie.. " haha
confusion! i cant recall what happened but next is asked to proceed to the cake & sang him bday song!
can tell from darling's face he was really overjoyed! of coz' im overjoyed too!!

thank you hui lots & lots. she called me & told me she wanted to come down after class. she wanted to pass me a book i needed for homework & also to check things out. even be the photographer of the night to help us snap so many wonderful pictures! *MUACKS*

ReplyDeletevery much i wanted to, but Beatrice doesnt allow it lei... hui even told her that its jus to snap for the process of me trying different gowns to keep it as a memory, she also said no lor.. hai..
ReplyDeletewe bought the flowery dresses and belts at Bugis Street together. also purposely bought the same pumps to match it. hair bands from the studio.
too bad i missed the fun! argh..
