It's my dearest hubby birthday celebration with the usual cliques.
For this year, it's just a simple dinner at Sweet Indulgence for Italian cuisine and a game of WII and mahjong at the Yip's.

Europe again..

The hubby is away to Germany for work trip, then to London for soccer match and then back to Germany for work again.

Sounds like the hubby is another soccer freak eh?! Haha, he's not.

Anyway, i miss him so much.. 3 more dayS.. and my man will be back!

Riders Cafe

Hubby supposedly to go for his cohesion event today. It's a walk from MacRitchie Reservoir to the Tree Top bridge and then followed by lunch buffet at Hanabi. He even intended to bring me along with him. But, oh well.. we err.. Ermz.. OVER SLEPT and err.. feeling kind of lazy to do the 10.4km hike!

So I suggested to him a new place for brunch on a lazy day like today.. keke

It is a nice.. no.. tranquility should be the word to describe the place for a lazy brunch or even tea-session with your loved ones! by the way mummies, it's kids' friendly! I'm so sure that I'm defintely going to patronise it again, soon. =)

4 days to the Wedding

I know the husband is pretty stressed up with the outstanding wedding arrangement. Mainly is the table arrangement & our video montage.

it's the first time ever the husband woke up earlier than me on a sunday morning. i'm always the one to disturb and drag him out of bed!

Yesterday was different! as early as 8am, the husband woke up! he rolled over the bed & on the lappy! and i can see him busy looking at the table arrangement & agendas of the 2 days over and over again, doing amendments to it! (without brushing his teeth and wash up loh!)

im glad to say things are pretty done up... and i really hope all will be happy & not-so-stressed-up for the big day.

Updated list!

1) The husband has bought his belt yesterday!
2) My unfinished wishing tree.. it's done up! thanks to mummy dearest and aunty dearest! they completed it!!! YAYS!
3) manicure & pedicure. I've got mei mei & bling blingS nails now!! it was nicely done up by Cynful Nails last night. it ended at 1130pm loh!
4) haircut for 2 of us. Oh yes, we've have our hair trimmed on saturday!
5) angbaos!... i think still got some to prep for sunday helpers!
6) table arrangement! this stressed up pretty much on the husband. well, i hope all can be good on sunday....
9) our video montage!!!! erms... we'll try to complete by friday =x
10) last minute shopping for decorations in SK's room

and, we are going to collect our gowns this evening. hopefully, both of us (esp me!) can fit into the gowns as per what have last measured! i've been munching non-stop for the past few days and till now!!! suddenly, feel so difficult to be disciplined!

my last wish...

i hope ALL will be shaallaallaa and.... dear hubby, just try your best! and we shall enjoy our big dayS!

in 1 month's time

it's exactly 1 month away to the wedding!

feeling excited and really looking forward to it. think it will be my ONLY day of being so pretty! haha..

the husband is busy at work(ok, nothing's special abt this =x), at the same time busy doing up our childhood montage. he diligently completed the agendas and tasks list of the wedding entourage too. =)

it's the last few laps liao.. the husband starts to feel more kuncheong.. always checking with me this done yet, that confirmed yet.. blah blah.. even more kuncheong than me loh =p

for me, i still left with my "wishing tree", tidying up my forever messed up room & most importantly- to maintain & stay pretty! got to start my beauty regime religiously! i want to be a gorgeous bride!!!

the hubby is finally back!

my dearest hubby is back!

as predicted, he lost weight & looks very chao tah! BUT, it's ok. there's still time for him to "recover" his handsome-ness! keke!!

3 weeks of seperation, 1 round of weight lost for us. the weighing machine showed:

the husband: 70Kg
the wife: 45kg

2 more months, we are gonna try our best to maintain at this!

off he goes, to australia...

the husband is busying packing his luggage for the trip.

he's flying off in another 12hours' time. it's going to be a long trip, 3.5 weeks.

ive got a busy husband

as the title speaks for itself.

he's the first person to see when i opened my eyes every morning.

he too, the last person i see before i dozed myself off every night.

but i practically got no chance to discuss the wedding proper in details with him.

it's either we'll just casually bring it out during our dinner time or whenever we are in the car or that's our end of day 5mins coversation before both of us fell dead asleep on bed every night.

puzzled? cause i've got a super duper responsible & hardworking husband who gives 100% commitment to his work. =)

for weekdays, its either he'll be home late for being caught up at his workplace OR he will bring his work home to do till he doze off on the lappy OR he will be too tired to give me his full attention for the discussion.
for weekends, he'll spend his quality time with his family for updates of himself for the entire week.. yah, ive got a filial husband. =)

no no, im not feeling pissed or neglected. i just find it amusing? haha..

despite the difficulties in squeezing time out for our wedding details discussion with hubby, i know very well that my hubby is still very very much committed & looking forward to our big days excitedly! muacks!!

message to the husband: please squeeze some time for the discussion with me on our wedding before you fly off to australia!

1st wedding anniversary

today's our 1 year wedding anniversary. both of us have applied half day leave and decided to spend the second half of the day, pampering ourselves(or rather only mrs tan, keke), to mark the celebration of this special day.

330pm: high tea session @ equinox. mr tan praised and very happy with mrs tan's decision to this place. he loves the spectacular view. food was so-so.

6pm: proceed to get an anniversary pressie for mrs tan. before that, both mr & mrs tan got high testing SONY & CANON DSLR. keke.. so tempting lor!

730pm: happy mrs tan got her swarovski bling bling watch from hubby. loves! loves! loves! muackz! =)

830pm: the day was ended perfectly with Frolick's yoghurt & a RedBull smoothie @ Serangoon Gardens.

im super super duper blessed to have a very doting husband, always trying his best to fulfill my wish! and.. YES! he did it again!

Monday, before bedtime:
wife: *giggling* so we are going to book the europe tour hor?
hubby: yes yes, will inform my boss tml first and also papa..
wife: must remember huh!!
hubby: *smiling* yes laopo...

Tuesday morning, before hubby kiss me goodbye:
hubby: *muackz* i go work liao..
wife: *eyes still half closed, smiling* we are going to europe hor?
hubby: *laughing* yes yes laopo da ren!

it's confirmed and we have already paid the deposit for our trip on tuesday evening..

yeah yeah.. we are going to EUROPE!! ay.. should say only part of Europe.. be going to Switzerland, Italy & France!

turning point?

im clueless of how i am going about to blog in this post. i just want to pen this "event" down.

things hasnt been going that well for hubby.

dun worry, nothing big. just something happened yesterday in which affected hubby terribly. seeing him so so upset, im so bothered by it and dunno how i can help hubby to ease his frustrations. or rather how & what should i give him the best advice.

everyone's life never a smooth sailing journey. if someone does, he/she must be really well blessed. all of us got to go through different hurdles in our life in some ways or other. im unsure whether this "event" may be a major turning point for hubby...

good food?!

recently mrs tan is into food, dunno why too.

WTH with the slimming down project?! haikz.

my stupid hubby made me REAL PISSED on saturday evening, while i was driving! shan't elaborate what happened, but in short, im trying to keep my cool. but how can one calm down when she's real pissed & about to explode??!! gotta "let go" abit if not, i think i will die! so, i stepped on the accelerator & yes ive wasted petrol? but who cares at the point of time, as long as im confident we will be good in 1 piece!

so in order to coax me back, he promised he'll do anything or bring me anywhere i want.

i demanded for the President Popiah! i've read it from one of the food blogs that i've tagged in my blog. hubby drove me & papa-in-law there on sunday morning. it's somewhere at joo chiat.. & i tell you, im so so so super disappointed with the overly raved President Popiah! fairly priced at $2 BUT it's not nice lor! some bloggers even rated it as high as 4.7/ 5 lor. i will only give it a 2.5/5 nia. what a great disappointment! my $1 Popiah at Hougang taste soooo much better than that!

mummy's b'day on July. again, with the power of internet, i've hunted down another place to have our dinner. it will be peranakan this time round...keke..

Marina Barrage

have been thinking to make a visit to marina barrage. after the boring class yesterday, darlin suggested that we made a trip there.
